CLIAPORTO and HKM enter into a strategic partnership to serve the subsea equipment segment of the oil and gas industry. The alliance materializes the complementarity of the actions of the two companies.
CLIAPORTO's base, in the city of Niterói (RJ), has access to the sea and can receive, assemble and unload subsea components and equipment. HKM, based in the municipality of Serra (ES), has large equipment for machining, welding, heat treatment, among other processes aimed at the Offshore segment. The two companies already have their engineering and manufacturing teams working together to meet local demand. The oil and gas sector faced the challenges of the pandemic with reasonable stability and remains on a growth trend. This shows the robustness of the sector and the success of the companies' strategic initiative.
HKM has been operating in the metallurgy sector since 2008, having been founded by professionals with over 20 years of experience in the metalworking sector, has been expanding its operations in the oil and gas sector providing the market with complete manufacturing solutions. CLIAPORTO, founded in 2017, belongs to the UTC Participações S.A. group, and has more than 45 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.
The initial focus of the alliance is the manufacture of Manifolds, PLETs, PLEMs, ILTs, suction piles, torpedo piles, monobuoys, friction collars, jumpers, bend restrictors and similar equipment.
